GFC Construction: a cultural patron in the traditional mode

GFC Construction has created a Sponsorship and Ethics Committee to review grant applications, ensuring that they meet the criteria of its sponsorship policy, which focuses on humanitarian, medical, social and cultural initiatives.

The company gives priority to major cultural programmes that take place in the region in which it operates: the south-western quadrant of France.

Among the most noteworthy programmes are the following:

• French Song Festival in the Aix area
• City of Saint-Étienne’s “Les Transurbaines” biennale (cityscape festival)
  
• “Printemps des Comédiens” theatre festival in Montpellier
• Maison Neyrand in Lyon
• Festival of Lights in Lyon
• “Les Rencontres de Bonifacio”
  

Partner of Cézanne 2006

For many years, GFC Construction has also sponsored major artistic events in the cultural life of the city of Aix-en-Provence. As a partner of the Paul Cézanne Society for the past two years, the company has participated in exceptional events organised as part of Cézanne 2006. The company, for example, served as the main sponsor for the Shigeru Ban exhibition at the Vasarély Foundation in Aix-en-Provence.
