The benchmark building company in each of its specialities
Market leader in the Paris region, Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France provides its customers with a comprehensive offering through the specialities of its operating units: Rénovation Privée, Construction Privée, Habitat Résidentiel, Ouvrages Publics, Habitat Social and Brézillon (industrial civil engineering, environment and rehabilitation). Sodéarif and Elan, specialist property development and project management companies, round out the subsidiary's offering.
Specialization enables Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France to attain the level of expertise required to bring an appropriate response to the expectations of all its customers.
A focus on sustainable construction
Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France is concentrating on designing and implementing effective technical and commercial solutions, including the "eco-design" and carbon balance of buildings, particularly using CarbonEco® (energy consumption simulation software), employing alternative building methods (wood, etc.) and new materials such as ThermediaTM 0.6 B structural insulating concrete, and introducing the Heliopac system (hot water provided by solar powered heat pumps), etc.
The company also calls on the services of its subsidiary Élan, which is highly skilled in managing low-environmental impact building projects.
Gateway to employment and safety at work
In the context of its "Gateway to Employment" programme, Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France supports people in need of career orientation or lacking a professional project, mainly through a donation of employees' services. Approximately fifty employees take part in these ventures and partnerships have been set up with approximately ten community organisations.
With the theme "Health, Safety, I'm involved!", the Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France safety policy aims to achieve the objective of zero accidents. With this aim in view, all the employees adopted a charter consisting of five commitments which are all based on individual and collective responsibility, implementing safety rules and instructions, sharing know-how and good practices and involving all the company's stakeholders in its movement for progress. In addition, Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France has introduced a two-day training session on health and safety issues for all newly hired site workers.
