An organization close to its customers

Entreprises France-Europe workerBouygues Entreprises France-Europe consists of Bouygues Construction subsidiaries in the French regions and neighbouring European countries: Norpac, Bouygues Belgium, Pertuy Construction, Losinger, Marazzi, GFC Construction, Acieroïd, DV Construction, GTB Construction, Quille, Bouygues UK and Warings.

The organisation also includes the Cirmad network, which handles property development, and VSL France, a company specialised in post-tensioning systems and the repair of engineering structures.

Operating in the building and civil works sectors, Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe takes charge of projects from the design and finance stage through to completion. Working in close proximity to its customers and committed to delivering the same skills and operating with the same effectiveness everywhere, it operates a policy of decompartmentalisation and synergy which has resulted in it grouping its material resources in a single department and setting up a common purchasing structure, a joint training centre and networks of competence specialising in hospitals, prisons, engineering structures, etc.

Putting safety first

The D'Estaing Hospital

For several years, Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe has applied a highly proactive policy to improve safety on its construction sites, with the object of changing behaviour and attitudes. The company introduced the "building permit" system, a week-long training course on safety given to all site workers before they are allowed to work on site. An additional week-long training course, called "Vital Attitudes" and entirely devoted to the theme of safety is attended by the foremen.

Furthermore, new safety standards were laid down. These are very practical, and give rise to a series of pragmatic measures designed to reduce accidents, such as banning the use of ladders on sites during the structural works phase.
