ETDE is a systems provider and integrator offering a range of services to both private- and public-sector customers operating in energy, services, industry, transport, the environment and telecoms.
ETDE offers its customers a comprehensive range of services encompassing finance, design, contracting, maintenance and operation in its four main business areas: utility networks, electrical, mechanical and HVAC engineering, facilities management (FM), and telecoms networks and services.
The company operates some 200 profit centres in France, but is also well established internationally.
Its development is grounded in a strong organic growth and an external growth strategy – 55 acquisitions since 2001 – seeking to extend territorial coverage at the same time as acquiring new technical competences.
Dealing with social and community issues
As a local player operating in the heart of towns and cities as well as rural areas, ETDE have set up partnerships with the aim of helping resolve social and community issues. In 2006, ETDE signed an agreement regarding the hiring and retention of disabled employees; it was the first firm in its sector to make a commitment to this type of policy.
ETDE also conducts recruitment programmes for young people from underprivileged areas, where it presents its lines of work and holds job interviews.
These projects serve the firm’s recruitment needs and are an integral part of the diversity policy implemented by ETDE.
