Jean-Manuel Soussan, new Human Resources Director of Bouygues Construction
Jean-Manuel Soussan has been appointed Human ResourcesDirector of Bouygues Construction. He succeeds François Jacquel, who has retired after a 34-year career in the Group.
On taking up hisnew position, Jean-Manuel Soussan has organised the Human Resources departmentaccording to three specialist areas:
- the Process department, for the definition and coordination of the Human Resources function;
- the Development department, which primarily covers the remuneration policy, surveys, recruitment and relations with schools;
- the Training department, which in particular consists of Bouygues Construction University, the corporate university.
Jean-Manuel Soussan, aged 48, holds a postgraduate degree in labour law. After beginning his career at Spie-Batignolles, he joined Bouygues Construction in September 1995, as head of the human resources department at Norpac in Lille. In 1997, he was appointed human resources director for GTB Construction in Nantes. In 1999, he transferred to Bouygues UK as human resources director, staying there until2005, when he became human resources development manager in the BouyguesConstruction Central Human Resources department.
