SITE MANAGER
Mission
The Site Manager organises and carries out one or more construction projects under the responsibility of the Contract Manager or the Works Supervisor.
Before starting work, the Site Manager studies the contract documents related to the execution of construction work, visits the site, and takes part in site meetings and coordination meetings. He finds the best technical solutions in collaboration with the Works Supervisor. He orders small items of equipment and ensures compliance with the planning, schedules, personnel and costs objectives determined by the Works Supervisor. He monitors the progress of construction work, draws up the survey of completed works and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards on the site.

In carrying out contracts obtained by the company, the Works Supervisor meets the requirements of schedules, quality, safety and cost as well as possible.
The Public Works Supervisor works on sites for the construction of large public works such as bridges, tunnels, and various infrastructures and facilities (airports, harbours, stadiums, etc.). He coordinates the various contributors and supervises one or more trades.
His tasks change as the construction work progresses. He manages the preliminary stages (logistic installation on the site, definition of working methods and procedures, analysis of risks, determining the financial target, appointing suppliers), the construction work (supervision and coordination of construction work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and budget control), and the completion/handover stage (correction of defects and completion of outstanding works, and transferring the project dossier to the customer service team).

Mission
The Quantity Surveyor performs various calculations, measurements and surveys in order to estimate the cost price of a structure or building, whether for restoring existing buildings or constructing new buildings.
He evaluates the cost of construction or renovation. He estimates and draws up the quotes and invoices. He writes the specifications, prepares and supervises construction work, and manages the allocated budget. He may draw up the schedule for carrying out the construction work. He may also supervise construction work, resolve failure of equipment or deal with an order that is not received, and reorganise work according to bad weather and any mishaps. He manages the allocated budget in order to achieve the best possible cost control.
