SITE MANAGER
Mission
The Site Manager organises and carries one or more construction projects under the responsibility of the Contract Manager or the Works Supervisor.
Before starting work, the Site Manager studies the contract documents related to the execution of construction work, visits the site, and takes part in site meetings and coordination meetings. He finds the best technical solutions in collaboration with the Works Supervisor. He orders small items of equipment and ensures compliance with the planning, schedules, personnel and costs objectives determined by the Works Supervisor. He monitors the progress of construction work, draws up the survey of completed works and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards on the site. He manages one or more teams, and handles relations with the client and its representatives on the site.

WORKS SUPERVISOR
Mission
The Works Supervisor optimises the profitability of contracts for which he is responsible, while ensuring fulfilment of the contractual, legal, employment and safety obligations, organising the resources to be used, and ensuring that the financial end goal is achieved. He manages projects of all sizes in the fields of electrical, mechanical and thermal engineering, communication systems and external utility services networks.
Once the studies have been validated, the Works Supervisor must carry out and coordinate the transfer of the design studies to the construction department, put together the construction work files, plan the project by identifying the working methods and procedures, the personnel and material resources, and the environmental obligations, then supervise the construction works until their acceptance and until correction of defects and completion of outstanding works. He must also be attentive to the client’s needs and keep the client informed, take part in site meetings, propose technical solutions, and handle day-to-day relations with the client. The Works Supervisor also forms, coordinates, leads and manages his own teams.
Lastly, the Works Supervisor establishes the construction project’s economic target and the means to be used, determines the final selling price, and deals with suppliers. He must also plan his activity, the end of his construction projects, lead corrective action and analyse any discrepancies.
