Mission
The Form Setter assembles shoring, falsework and scaffolds, positions formwork, and installs safety devices. He pours concrete, vibrates it and removes formwork. He is also responsible for installing prefabricated concrete elements. The Form Setter’s trade includes two specialist trades: the Metal Form Setter, who uses metal panels (shuttering panels), and the Formwork Carpenter, who makes timber formwork of complex shape.

Mission
From the crane cabin, the crane driver transports materials and positions shuttering panels for making formwork. This work is carried out in collaboration with ground crews, according to the job allocation schedule prepared by the Site Manager, or when requested.

Mission
On a construction site, the Finishing Mason makes good all existing works after concreting in order to ensure conformity of their appearance and tolerances. Among other things, he carries out the first finishing works after the main structure and fabric works as well as the finest finishes. He makes renderings and is familiar with the basic admixtures and the positions for final making good.

Mission
The tracer sets out and marks out construction reference lines and grid lines on the basis of working drawings and technical indications. He also marks out shell walls, floors, doors and windows. The tracer has an overall vision of the construction works.
