Every year, Bouygues Construction participates in a large number of career fairs for undergraduate students.
Careers fairs are a good opportunity for you, students in vocational and professional undergraduate degree programmes, to meet human resources and line managers. You will be able to talk to them about the various positions at Bouygues Construction and apply for an internship or job by submitting your CV.
Every year, Bouygues Construction holds several educationally oriented business competitions for students. These competitions cultivate our image as a benchmark employer and ensure that our businesses – building, civil engineering, electrical contracting and maintenance – remain attractive. They provide an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills and serve as a pathway to a first job.
The Défi Maîtrise (“Site Supervision Challenge”), held in regions of France outside Paris, and the Trophée jeunes constructeurs (“Young Builders’ Award”), held in the Paris area, offer undergraduate students specialising in a construction field to work together as a team for an entire day on various aspects of a jobsite: organisation, technology, productivity, safety, management and human resources. The teams work with site supervisors on a practical case that has been developed and evaluated by one of Bouygues Construction’s entities. The teams then go to the site to defend their work to a jury and participate in safety, career and training workshops, hear guest speakers and tour the site.
Bouygues Construction forges close ties with institutions of higher learning and their students through educational and financial partnerships, which take a variety of forms.
Partnership agreements
We enter into partnership agreements with certain target institutions. These agreements enable the company and institution to cooperate and meet the expressed needs of each party. Educational activities are given top priority and take the form of classroom presentations, participation in exam juries and the creation of courses.
Apprenticeship tax
We support the development of technical and professional education in undergraduate institutions by donating a portion of our apprenticeship tax. This contribution funds student internships and apprenticeship contracts within our group.
Event sponsorships
Through our local entities, we occasionally sponsor educational and cultural events in schools.
Scholarships
We have traditionally provided financial support to certain candidates during the early years of higher education. We offer scholarships to undergraduate students based on career objectives and the nature of the request.
We invite you to contact the School Relations manager at the Bouygues Construction Human Resources central office. The manager will determine to what extent your career goals are a good fit for our corporate objectives.
Feel free to contact us for any further information about our partnerships
Work site visits
In cooperation with schools, we regularly organise visits to major Bouygues Construction work sites. These visits give students a good opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of an actual construction site and to develop initial contacts.
Employer presentations
Led by a human resources specialist, our career opportunities presentations give you a chance to learn more about our businesses and career opportunities and to meet Bouygues Construction line managers who graduated from your school.
Feel free to contact us for any further information about our local programmes.
School relationships
Bouygues Construction’s technical expertise enjoys an excellent reputation. However, to maintain our position in a growing industry and ensure that we remain attractive, we are constantly seeking candidates with a wider range of qualifications. For this reason, we are forging close and special relationships with schools.
