Your induction

We want you to feel at home as soon as you join Bouygues Construction.
You will be given a number of documents that will help you to get to know the company (introductory booklet, guide to professions, etc.). During your first month with us you will follow a personalised induction course tailored to your job and the problems you may encounter.

The induction phase will consist of various stages:

  • Individual meetings to get to know the main people you will be working with (your line managers, mentor, colleagues, etc.) and to discover your working environment

  • Induction breakfast meetings and induction days to discover and gain a better understanding of the company’s development strategy, management, history and culture

  • Employees in the support functions may be work site visits (to construction sites or technical departments) to ‘experience’ the company’s core businesses

  • Training tailored to your profile and responsibilities, to learn about Bouygues Construction’s know-how and methodology

  • An interview at the end of your probationary period, to review the situation with your line manager and define areas in need of improvement

Some entities also organise induction seminaries, which may vary from entity to entity.

The induction phase, which may last up to eighteen months, will allow you to familiarise yourself with all aspects of the company and get to know your colleagues and superiors, to help you settle into your new job and subsequently progress within the Group.
