“Of everything that I’ve done in my career as a builder, the Minorange Guild Workers Order is the initiative and the organisation that I consider the most successful and of which I am the most proud.
I am extremely satisfied to have served the cause of these guild workers. Like me, they are real builders. We are linked by a bond of great and sincere friendship.”
Francis Bouygues
The Minorange Guild Workers Order was founded in 1963 by Francis Bouygues with the aim of retaining and rewarding its best workers. For such people, a company’s long-term success cannot be ensured by rules and regulations: it is built day after day, and, by their behaviour, they show that they support the company’s values.
The Minorange Guild Workers are distinguished by their strong desire to produce high-quality work in a real spirit of fellowship. They are the driving force on construction sites, which requires them to have technical, professional and personal qualities. They are proud to be recognized and appreciated by their peers and managers.
In 2007, this elite was composed of 949 Guild Workers in 16 Orders in France and abroad in the different sectors, i.e. building, civil engineering and electricity/utility networks.

This Order is managed by the Guild Workers themselves, and every member must earn his/her place every year. Through a specific annual assessment process, the Order’s Board decides whether to continue or discontinue an existing Guild Worker’s membership and whether to name a new Guild Worker.
