The solar air-conditioning system designed for Tampines is the first of its kind in Singapore and for Bouygues Construction. This innovative solution, developped by Singapore project teams with the help of BYME (Mechanical & Electrical subsidiary) and central engeneering, uses heat exchanger panels and absorption water chillers which convert solar energy into cooling power. It adds to the cooling power provided by high-performance chillers.
