Strengthening of the procedures
Bouygues Construction employs internal procedures enabling it to identify, limit and manage risks inherent to its business: technical and geological risks, meteorological disruption, the intervention of multiple players, works-related nuisance, design and maintenance risks, etc.
In 2007, the Group stepped up vigilance on environmental, social and reputation risks by strengthening its procedures and developing employees’ skills in this area. Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe developed an evaluation method for environmental risks and opportunities at the negotiation stage, and publishes environmental standards on its construction sites, setting targets that are more stringent than current regulations (e.g. reducing volumes of waste, monitoring noise, lowering water consumption, etc.).
