Quille receives the Gender Equality label
Quille, a regional subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has just obtained the gender Equality label awarded by AFAQ AFNOR. Awarded for the first time in France to a major company in the Building and Public Works sector, this label distinguishes the company’s commitment to promoting equal treatment of women and men in the fields of recruitment, remuneration and career development.
Quille has signed an agreement with its social partners setting out the objectives and means to be implemented in terms of private life – professional life balance (individualisation of working times, voluntary part-time work, child care, etc.), equal pay, career development and access to training. Bolstered by this committed approach, the company applied to AFAQ AFNOR for the Gender Equality label. The aim of this label is to promote gender equality and professional gender diversity in companies, administrative organisations and associations. The certification organisation examines the actions undertaken by companies applying for the label in three fields: professional equality, the management of human resources and the management of parental responsibilities in the professional framework. The label is awarded for a period of three years, with an intermediate verification after 18 months.
To date, Quille is the only major company in the Building and Public Works sector in France and the first company from Haute-Normandie in the sector to receive this label.
Apart from Gender Equality, now recognised by the label, Quille has signed three other agreements with its social partners concerning the integration of people with disabilities, diversity of origins and the employment of seniors.
