Bouygues Construction has just signed a memorandum of understanding with Planète Urgence, an association which for ten years has fought inequalities in the North-South divide, with the help of volunteers who give up some of their annual leave.
The memorandum of understanding signed on the 8th of October between Bouygues Construction and the Planète Urgence association, for a period of three years, consists of asking volunteer employees to carry out a short mission in a country of the south (two weeks on average). Through this partnership Bouygues Construction offers employees the opportunity to participate in a Planète Urgence humanitarian mission during their annual leave by directly financing the mission and transport costs.
During the mission employees will share their professional and personal skills with beneficiaries in a country of the south in one of the three areas in which the association works:
- Adult training
- Educational support
- Environmental protection
