March 2011 - Live my life at Bouygues Construction
Following brainstorming sessions involving students, the Human Resources department and our campus managers, we decided to invite students from the ESTP engineering school to take part in a day of discovery through a "Live my Life" event, inspired by a popular French TV programme.
The initiative was based on the voluntary involvement of ESTP graduates now working at Bouygues Construction, who agreed to be accompanied for day by a 2nd or 3rd year student.
The day was scheduled for February 16, 2011. 27 employees of Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, Bouygues Bâtiment International, Bouygues Travaux Publics and ETDE volunteered to take part, including people working inconstruction, engineering, sales, etc.

January 2011 - International corporate volunteer assignments
A period of time spent on assignment as an international corporate volunteer (V.I.E.) is an excellent first professional experience for young graduates and a great opportunity for finding out about our international operations. At the present moment, there are 128 people with posts in the Group under this system.
With a"placement rate" of 85%, the V.I.E. scheme provides a springboard to a future job. It makes sense to look for a return on the investment that has been made in these young people over a period of up to 18 months. Know-how acquired, experience of working abroad and knowledge of the company are all elements that allow line managers or human resources managers to recruit with confidence. The young recruits have had the time to become familiar with the company's practices, its culture and its values, and can thus envisage starting their careers in a Group offering a range of opportunities.
