This turnkey university complex remains the largest building construction project in the world. It groups together educational buildings, special buildings (library, audiovisual centre, restaurant, and administrative buildings) and a mosque. All buildings are interlinked by pedestrian walkways whose open sides give onto the surrounding landscape and are crowned by a succession of monumental arcades. The Group obtained the contract in the face of a very high level of international competition from other American, English, German, Swedish, Italian and Saudi contractors.
