Born in 1953, Bernard-Eric Scalabre holds a university diploma in Management. He joined the Bouygues Group in 1976, originally working on a Quille Construction worksite in northern France. He transferred to the equipment department of Norpac in 1979, where he served first as Equipment Manager, then Purchasing Manager.
In 1992, he moved to the Paris region and was responsible for Equipment in the Building sector for Ile-de-France and International operations. He took control of Bouygues Construction Matériel, the Group structure dedicated to managing and sharing site machines, when it was founded in 2003.
