Bouygues Construction – A partner of the 2018 Maddy Keynote
Bouygues Construction answered the call from Maddyness and became a partner of the Maddy Keynote, its innovation summit, which will take place on 1 February at the Centquatre centre in Paris. Riding on the wave of past successful events, this third edition will explore the topic of the City of the Future through the prism of four complementary themes: mobility, housing, well-being and the Agora. This is an opportunity for the Group to reaffirm its commitment to shared innovation at the service of all.
Maddyness, the news magazine from the start-up world, is launching its new edition of the Maddy Keynote dedicated to innovations that will make up the city of tomorrow. More than 5,000 people are expected at this event which poses the question of human perception in the face of the dramatic shifts in today’s world. What does the mobility of tomorrow have in store for us? Do we want a collaborative approach to everything? What is the future of co-working and co-living? What are the spaces and resources necessary to the well-being of the general population? Speakers will cover all of these questions during conferences, round-table discussions and debates throughout the day and decipher the current trends that give us a glimpse into the society of the future. Visitors will be able to anticipate this new reality in concrete ways at the Immersive City, a demonstration space which showcases start-ups and innovative projects and offers an immersion in a reconstituted “City of the Future.”
Maddy Keynote: the must-see innovation event
Since its creation in 2015, the Maddy Keynote quickly rose up to become one of the flagship innovation events in France, making it natural for Bouygues Construction to become its partner this year. Roland Le Roux, Open Innovation Manager, explains: “The whole innovation ecosystem, from major companies to start-ups, communities and academic players, are participating in the event, so we absolutely had to be there. As an urban development operator, Bouygues Construction is particularly interested in the 2018 themes which are related to all of our business areas and for which we have relevant offers to make.”
Bouygues Construction positions itself as a main player in collaborations with start-ups, and the Maddy Keynote will be an opportunity to present innovative partnerships which make all the difference for our clients. In fact, in 2017, the Group identified 600 start-ups, conducted over 60 operations involving products and services from young, innovative businesses and bought over six million Euros’ worth of products and services from start-ups.
