SD & biodiversity
Biodiversity, respecting living things and how they interact with humans, has become a major issue for our future. Green roofs, floral walls – Bouygues Construction is introducing biodiversity to its projects, in an original way and always respecting the environment. Combining construction, the city and sustainable development: Bouygues Construction’s latest challenge. At Bouygues Construction, we believe there are three aspects involved in restoring nature: innovation and developing expertise, providing new offers and services that meet stakeholders’ expectations, in an aim to co-create solutions towards protecting biodiversity and well-being in a sustainable construction context.
Bouygues Construction is constantly furthering its commitment to tackling this issue, notably through a socio-ecological observatory for urban biodiversity co-created with an association called Noé.
The aim is to better understand biodiversity in an area or a city, to gather information on local residents’ experiences and their expectations so as to continually improve our efforts towards making a greener city.
