High voltage line in Congo
Energy & Services
In Congo, Bouygues Energies & Services finalised the construction and upgrading of power lines and transformers in 2011. This 500-kilometre infrastructure crosses the country from east to west. It provides power to Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville, the two largest cities in Congo, as well as all the villages lying along the route taken by the power lines. At peak periods, up to 1,000 local people were working on this project, which met a vital need of the population.
