Since 2011, Bouygues Energies & Services has held the energy performance contract for street lighting and traffic lights in Paris. The subsidiary is seeking to reduce energy consumption by 30% by acting on 180,000 light points, 140,000 traffic lights and 300 illuminated sites. In the Place de la Concorde, where low-energy bulbs have been installed, consumption has already been cut by 70%.
