Born in 1955 and a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Christian Gazaignes has spent his entire career with Bouygues Travaux Publics. Having joined the company in 1980 as a methods engineer, he went on to become Operations Director first for France (Marseille metro, Sylans viaduct), then for international projects (Kwon Tong bypass). In 1992, he was appointed Technical Director, and in 1995 he took charge of operations in Hong Kong.In July 1999, his sphere of management was extended to the Africa, Asia/Pacific, and Central and Latin America zones.
In February 2003, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Travaux Publics, and in March 2015 he became CEO of the Civil Works division of Bouygues Construction for Asia, Oceania and the Middle East.
Christian Gazaignes is member of the General Management Committee.
