Respect for people in all our projects

Turning our values

into commitments

We firmly uphold the fundamental human rights of our employees and partners worldwide. As such, Bouygues Construction is committed to the global policy defined by the Bouygues group, which has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since 2006.

It has formally set out its commitments in a human rights policy that applies to all its business lines in all countries. Implementing this policy involves making firm commitments and providing regular training and monitoring at grass-roots level.

Establishing a responsible value chain

Our responsibility extends beyond employment contracts. In addition to our own employees, we also support our suppliers and subcontractors in their efforts to prevent violations of workers’ rights.

Our procurement policy and subcontracting agreements actively seek to select ethical and responsible partners. We incorporate due diligence procedures into our selection process and conduct regular social audits to ensure that our suppliers and subcontractors comply with their human rights obligations.

These measures ensure our compliance with the standards of the International Labour Organisation and strengthen the integrity of our projects.
