Gaspard Monge Middle School

A reconstruction combining wood, concrete, and the circular economy

Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est is rebuilding the Gaspard Monge middle school for the Haute-Savoie department as part of its extensive investment plan for middle schools. The project is being carried out in partnership with AER Architectes, GERONIMO, landscape architect ARFOLIA, and engineering firms Inddigo, Projectec, Ingeos, Idex, Ingénierie Cuisines Professionnelles, Exact Acoustique, Carrier Géomètres Experts, EcoCM, and Arborescence.

The project includes:

demolition of the existing secondary school and gymnasium;
construction of a new secondary school with 26 classrooms, whose dining areas will also accommodate the 300 pupils of the primary school;
construction of a gymnasium, complemented by two multi-purpose rooms and a regional-level climbing and bouldering facility;
construction of six staff residences.
