MDBI, Bouygues Bâtiment International’s subsidiary in the Philippines led the construction of the VITRO Santa Rosa Data Center (VSR). This flagship project stands as a cutting-edge data center, reinforcing the Philippines’ emergence as a key digital hub in Southeast Asia. Delivered by Bouygues Bâtiment International for VITRO, the facility is purpose-built for both performance and resilience. Set on a five-hectare site, the two-story main building houses 18 server rooms, supported by an administrative block, central utility plant, power substation, and specialized fire safety and wastewater systems.

Engineered for uninterrupted operations, VSR features a robust backup system that integrates generators and battery storage, ensuring continuous uptime even during extended outages. A rooftop cooling network supplies chilled water from refrigeration units to maintain optimal temperatures throughout all server rooms. Designed with security and reliability at its core, the site can serve critical sectors including banking, healthcare, logistics, and government services—showcasing Bouygues Bâtiment International’s expertise in delivering complex data center projects in new markets.
