New, exceptional sports equipment

The result of 30 months of work by our teams, the Adidas Arena embodies the emergence of a major sports and events facility, designed for both high-level sport and local life. Mobilizing 420 workers and specialized partners, as well as six cranes, the construction site gradually shaped this 26,000 m² complex designed as an open, lively, and accessible venue.

At the heart of the project is a large, modular, multifunctional hall with 8,000 seats, capable of hosting competitions, shows, and cultural events. Two gymnasiums complete the complex, intended for schools and sports clubs, affirming the facility's regional vocation. Surrounding these sports areas are 2,000 m² of leisure, catering, and entertainment areas, designed as true places of conviviality.

The focus on inclusion is also reflected in the creation of a “sensory room,” a space specifically designed to accommodate people with behavioral disorders or autism spectrum disorders. Through these programmatic choices, the Adidas Arena goes beyond its primary function to become a unifying facility, serving the public and the community.

The modern Adidas Arena, a large white curvilinear building, features the dark Adidas logo prominently on its facade and illuminated "BIENVENUE À L'ADIDAS ARENA" text, a glass ground floor, and a distinctive A-frame wooden roof element, all under an overcast sky.

From engineering prowess to everyday use

Behind the equipment now in operation lies a major construction challenge, marked in particular by the creation of the cylindrical shaft rising to a height of 17 meters, an iconic architectural feature crowning the main hall and connecting the two gymnasiums. The installation of the 850-ton steel frame was also a decisive step, requiring precise coordination of the lifting and assembly operations.

The second gymnasium illustrates a mixed construction approach incorporating wood, with a frame composed of seven beams weighing 4 tons each and spanning 24 meters. The addition of 750 wooden seats contributes to the warm architectural identity of this space, while meeting the environmental ambitions of the project.

Des écrans lumineux affichent le logo "adidas arena" et quelques personnes sont visibles sur le terrain et dans les tribunes inférieures, suggérant une phase de préparation.
