Bouygues Construction to build a prestigious 56-storey residential tower in Thailand

An exclusive residential development

The ONCE Wongamat tower is located on Pattaya-Na Kluea Road in North Pattaya. With a total floor space of more than 60,000 m², the 56-storey building will consist of 548 luxury apartments with high-end finishes. Designed by the Thai architectural firm D103i (Design 103 International), the building will prioritise living spaces and amenities for residents, including five retail areas.

Relaxation and wellness facilities will include several swimming pools (including a rooftop infinity pool and a children’s swimming pool), a poolside bar, a spa, a sauna and a Japanese hot spring. Fitness enthusiasts will have access to a premium gym, as well as a yoga studio and steam rooms.

Leisure and entertainment amenities will include private and open-air cinemas, an arcade and a golf simulator. Coworking spaces and private lounges will be available for work and socialising, and there will be children's play areas for families. The building will also provide a range of cafés, a restaurant and sky bars to add to everyday life, all supported by a concierge service, 24-hour security and covered parking.

A challenging construction project in a densely populated urban area

The foundation work is being carried out by Bouygues-Thai and Siam Tone Co. It began in February 2026 and is due for completion in August. The work involves rock coring in order to lay the tower’s foundations.

Following this, work on the superstructure will begin and is expected to take around 30 months. The low-carbon concrete structure presents technical challenges, one of which is constructing a cantilevered swimming pool that extends beyond the building. The construction of high-rise towers in seismic zones requires proven technical expertise, an area in which Bouygues Construction has built a strong track record.

The construction site faces several logistical challenges, including a restriction on any activity after 6 pm, and the complex task of managing traffic and material supplies in central Pattaya. The teams are using digital logistics tools to manage the site effectively: streamlining deliveries within operational windows and minimising congestion to keep the project to schedule.

Up to 700 people will be working on site at peak periods.
