Low-carbon paving for the Long An cold storage warehouse

VSL Vietnam designed and constructed the slab flooring for the new Long An cold storage warehouse, a facility capable of maintaining temperatures ranging from –25 °C to +20 °C. Thanks to its optimised prestressing technology and accelerated installation method, VSL reduced the thickness of the concrete, limited the number of joints and decreased the structure's embodied carbon by 30%. The project was delivered in just four months, while ensuring durability, flatness and resistance to heavy loads.
