An innovative hybrid timber flower marketplace
Blumenbörse West in Kerzers is a new, high-performance commercial hub developed by Losinger Marazzi—Bouygues Bâtiment International’s Swiss subsidiary—in collaboration with the Lausanne-based architects Kunik de Morsier. This site was purpose-designed as a specialized flower market and headquarters for the Blumenbörse cooperative, providing flexible, modern facilities for their forty employees and professional clients. By relocating its operations from Bern to Kerzers, Blumenbörse West now benefits from proximity to a wider customer base, especially serving clients from French-speaking Switzerland. The building’s architecture, with its functional layout and distinctive hybrid timber design, ensures an optimal environment for wholesale market activities, logistics, and administrative work.
