Bringing Post-Tensioning Expertise to Airport Facilities 

Kuwait International Airport Terminal II is a major expansion designed to accommodate up to 25 million passengers per year. The terminal’s distinctive trefoil shape features three 1.2‑kilometre wings extending from a central hall, inspired by regional architecture. 

VSL used horizontal stay-cable ties to stabilise the terminal’s large roof cantilever arches, employing PT tendons to connect the precast segments and create a massive 1.2-km vaulted arch structure.
