Renovation of 330 homes whilst residents remain in their homes

In the heart of the Lizé-Mâcon district, Bouygues Bâtiment Nord-Est is carrying out, on behalf of Habitation Moderne, the refurbishment of a 330-unit housing complex built in the 1960s, whilst the site remains occupied.

The homes have undergone a complete refurbishment aimed at improving quality of life and safety. These works provide residents with enhanced comfort and sustainable technical performance.

The transformation of the façade is also significant: external thermal insulation and the extension of the balconies. This work contributes to improved energy performance whilst giving the complex a more distinctive and contemporary architectural identity.

The refurbishment is also accompanied by extensive work to enhance the residential environment, creating a more peaceful, better-structured living space suited to everyday life.

Carried out whilst the site was occupied, the project relied on constant dialogue with the tenants. Listening, proximity and adaptability were the guiding principles throughout the works, in close collaboration with partner companies and local stakeholders.
