Prépaou Residence

Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est carried out, on behalf of Logirem, the renovation of 12 buildings comprising 165 housing units in Istres while the site remained occupied. The objective was to sustainably improve the energy performance of the Prépaou residence and the comfort of its residents.

Carried out in partnership with architects Labastie and Sartorius, as well as the SOL.A.I.R. design office, the project involved:

• Complete renovation of bathrooms, toilets, and plumbing systems.
• Improved summer comfort with the installation of air circulators in all living rooms and sunshades or shutters in the most exposed rooms.
• Improving winter comfort through the complete overhaul of the heating system and the creation of a thermal airlock on the ground floor.
• External thermal insulation of all buildings, complemented by cladding on the ground floor.
• Renovation of entrance halls and landings.
