Bertrand Burtschell joined the Group in 1994 in Hong Kong. Over the next decade he took part in a number of major projects, initially in France and then in Hong Kong and Switzerland. From 2006, Bertrand Burtschell successively headed units of Bouygues Travaux Publics in France, Switzerland (PraderLosinger Sion) and Europe. He also supervised Bouygues Construction Expertises Nucléaires. In 2020, he was appointed Deputy CEO of Bouygues Travaux Publics before becoming Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction and Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Travaux Publics in January 2026.

Bertrand Burtschell is a member of the Bouygues Construction Executive Committee.
