Philippe Jouy began his career as an environmental engineer in the United States. He joined the Bouygues group in 1993, where he held a number of positions in the finance function. In 1999 he entered the Audit department at Bouygues SA, transferring to Bouygues Bâtiment International in 2002 as financial director for the Americas region. He was appointed finance director of Bouygues UK in 2005. From 2007 onwards, he held a succession of general management positions in the UK and in France. In 2015 he became president of Bouygues Bâtiment Nord-Est. He transferred to Hong Kong as CEO for the Asia Region at Bouygues Bâtiment International in 2021. In June 2022, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction, with responsibility for Bouygues Bâtiment France. Since January 2026, he has been in charge of the International Building entity.
