Who are we ?
Operating in Côte d’Ivoire for more than 70 years, SETAO was the first Bouygues Bâtiment International subsidiary in Africa. Based in Abidjan, it supports its customers in all parts of the value chain, from land sourcing and financial engineering to design, construction, operation and maintenance.
In its role as a general contractor, SETAO has played a key part in shaping the Ivorian landscape by delivering numerous iconic projects that have become part of residents’ everyday lives, including hospitals, universities, housing, offices, hotels, shopping centres, logistics platforms and large engineering structures. These projects demonstrate our dual strength, combining the Group’s international expertise with long-standing local partnerships.
However, SETAO is not just a builder; it is also a driver of economic and social development. Since its creation, the company has provided training for generations of Ivorian engineers, technicians and workers. Today, people remain at the heart of its activities, with a focus on ensuring everyone's safety, nurturing skills and supporting future talents.
