    Viaduc du Littoral
    La Réunion - France

The Viaduc de la Nouvelle Route du Littoral on the island of La Réunion is the longest viaduct in the sea of France. It connects Saint-Denis to La Réunion at La Grande Chaloupe and replaces the current corniche road between Saint-Denis and Possession. Realised by Bouygues Travaux Publics, it was conceived to resist to cyclonic swells as well as drive away vehicles from risks of landslide of the cliff.

95% of the necessary works for the construction of the viaduct were prefabricated on land, then were transported and deposited by a sea route thanks to the Zourite barge (giant barge created to transport the viaduct piles).

      Le Prado Shopping Centre
      Marseille - France

It took three years of work to complete the construction of the Le Prado shopping centre in Marseille.

The project was carried out as part of a real property programme designed to develop an eco-neighbourhood around the Vélodrome Stadium. Linkcity and Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est were the key players in its construction,

The complex, designed by architects Didier Rogeon et Benoy architects, has a resolutely modern, luxury design and spans 4 floors and 7 sub-floors right outside the Orange Vélodrome Stadium. It covers 22,000 m² and includes one department store, one supermarket, boutiques and convenience stores. It is crowned by a glass canopy measuring around 6000 m².

This responsible project is in line with a sustainable approach to construction and is seeking to be labelled BREEAM® Excellent and C2C (“cradle to cradle”, a certification based on the principles of a circular economy: zero pollution and 100% recycling).

Its facade clad in glass shards and its flared shape, with floors of areas ranging from 600 m² at the base of the tower to 1,900 m² at its peak, make it stand out from its neighbours. Its insulating double-skin façade means it also has an excellent energy rating. Certified HQE® Exceptional, Wellcore shell silver level and WiredScore platinum, the Alto Tower is the first high-rise building to be awarded the BREEAM® Outstanding label.

              Floirac - France

Located on the right bank of the Garonne River, the Bordeaux Métropole Arena was devised by the Rudy Ricciotti architectural firm and designed by Bouygues Bâtiment Centre Sud-Ouest.

Fully modular, with a capacity of 11,000 seats, it is intended to host major cultural and variety shows, as well as sporting events. This place of convergence and conviviality, with its architectural design and features, measures up to the world's largest arenas. Its rounded shape and the white of its concrete envelope, like a pebble deposited by the river, set it apart from the landscape.

Beyond its curvaceous architecture, the theatre is the result of a local and social project promoting the Bordeaux Metropolis.

Being a responsible company, Bouygues Bâtiment Centre Sud-Ouest supported local employment by entrusting 80% of the project to companies based in Nouvelle Aquitaine. Yhnova, a house printed in 3D
                  Nantes - France

Bouygues Entreprises France Europe has produced the first, in partnership with the University of Nantes.

An original concept, BatiPrint3D™ is the result of multidisciplinary studies conducted by researchers from the Laboratory of Digital Sciences of Nantes and the Institute of Research for Civil and Mechanical Engineering. This technology made it possible to deliver a 95 m² social housing unit in record time.

In technical terms, the arm of a polyarticulated industrial robot deposited three layers of material: two layers of expansive foam serving as formwork for a third layer of concrete. The robotic arm is guided directly around the slab by a laser sensor, using the digital mock-up of the house.

Yhnova is the first in a long series. Its distinguishing feature lies in its complex architectural shape, with curved walls and rounded angles.

Now it has been fully renovated and enhanced to incorporate modern-day usages while preserving its historical legacy.

The execution of this project consisted of bringing the building up to technical and accessibility standards and remodelling the reception areas, changing rooms, lavatories, and showers. A new heating process was developed, the glass ceiling was faithfully recreated, and the floor and wall coverings were restored to their original condition.

Finally, the centrepiece of the building, the 30- by 10-metre pool, was also demolished and rebuilt just the way it was originally, with all of the original construction details.

Floatgen is the first 100% European floating wind turbine, built and assembled in the port of Saint-Nazaire. Powerful of 2 MW, once the wind turbine starts working, it will produce the equivalent of the annual power consumption of 5,000 people.

This innovation in the renewable energy field is the result of cutting-edge work by Bouygues Travaux Publics and seven other European partners.

The major innovation is the floating foundation built to hold the wind turbine. The Bouygues Construction subsidiary developed a light, self-compacting concrete formula to reduce the weight of the structure as much as possible. This know-how confirms its expertise in terms of building port and maritime infrastructure.

The potential of offshore floating wind farms is immense as it enables electricity of renewable origin to be produced far from the coastline, with a reduced impact on the landscape and at a better price, thanks to the quality of the offshore wind. Bouygues Construction’s expertise in terms of maritime civil engineering is a vital asset in supporting the energy transition.

This maritime infrastructure consists of a fill enclosed by a band of 18 trapezoid reinforced concrete caissons and will serve as base for construction of the new eco-neighbourhood in Monaco.

The caisson precasting area is located in Marseille-Fos, the large French seaport and consists of a 10,000 sq.m area working space at the dock, which will be used primarily for preparing the reinforcements and assembling formwork for the caissons. It also includes a 32,000 sq.m area of water, where three times the size of a football field, where a floating dock will be positioned.
