A collective and shared state of mind
"The partnership between Time For Oceans and Bouygues Construction illustrates the challenges of tomorrow: fully integrating the environmental parameter into the company's activity whilst preserving performance and production costs. Our common challenge is to integrate the use of natural materials such as flax fibers, wood or terracotta and to significantly reduce the carbon footprint by rethinking the implementation techniques."

The partnership forged between Bouygues Construction and SUEZ has a common ambition to co-develop innovative and differentiating solutions with high added value that meet the challenges of resource conservation, energy and climate transition, and sustainable construction at the service of citizens, cities and territories.
Bouygues Construction took an interest in Hesus because of the Hesus store platform, which offers land exchange between worksites, and entrusted it with worksites where the young company was able to recycle the extracted sand. Ever since, the group continues to support Hesus via a Construction venture investment.
Smiile is a tool that allows residences, districts, and cities to organise themselves to share objects, services, trips, purchases, etc. In this partnership with Bouygues Construction, Smiile is used as a support tool during the rehabilitation of occupied sites and has been included in the Wizom catalogue. The new IEEE802.3BT standard published at the end of 2018 allows connected objects of up to 100W to be powered simply with a computer cable. This represents a real revolution in the building industry, as Energie IP is the first company to exploit this technology by implementing the Smart Building solution for the supply and control of lighting, blinds and air conditioning in office buildings. Energie IP digitizes the building from the technical rooms to the workspaces, with a Smartphone to control the equipment.
Morphosense develops a unique solution for continuous, real-time and remote monitoring of the structural integrity of civil engineering structures (bridges, dams, tunnels, towers, etc.) and energy structures (offshore Oil & Gas platforms and floating wind turbines, among others).
The collaboration with Bouygues Construction will enable this new technology to be used on projects in the civil engineering, offshore and construction sectors, offering greater quality, safety and services.
Since 2016, Bouygues Construction has been working with Early Metrics to rate innovative start-ups and SMEs. The rating is used to validate the strength and growth potential of the group’s investment targets. The process takes into account over 30 extra-financial criteria and includes an interview with the founders and other stakeholders (customers, suppliers, employees). This independent rating system can also be used before signing a contract or a framework contract with an innovative actor.
Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies
In July 2019, Bouygues Construction and Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies entered into a technical and commercial collaboration agreement to develop and test concrete formulations using a new, unique and innovative type of cement. H-EVA technology, which has a carbon footprint that is 70 to 80% lower than traditional Portland cement, is the focus of this collaboration. This strategic union is a considerable driving force in the face of the climate emergency, the results of which will contribute to creating a more responsible and sustainable construction industry, where cement currently represents 6% of greenhouse gas emissions in France.
The collaboration between Bouygues Construction and Simsoft focuses on structuring a complex voice-controlled intervention report. The project concerns the development of an Intelligent Voice Assistant to assist tunnel boring machine pilots in generating a “shift report” (a tunnel report) containing a description of all events that occurred during the 8-hour shift.
Taking into account terrain constraints, the voice assistant adapts to the noisy environment of the underground environment, the operators' accents and their language.
As an expert in multi-channel distribution in the energy sector, Rexel supports its customers in the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions. Rexel supports Bouygues Construction in controlling energy consumption, and managing connected buildings and their infrastructure. These are at the heart of our common economic, regulatory and environmental objectives.
The "Construction 4.0" Chair develops new approaches to meet the challenges of the construction sector: Centrale Lille and Bouygues Construction are working together on the industrialisation and robotization of construction, the connected site, the 4.0 shell, artificial intelligence, modular construction, the tunnel and the digitalisation of construction.
Dawex, a leading provider of data exchange solutions and the operator of the largest data marketplace, enables companies to orchestrate the flow of data within their ecosystem and directly between themselves by sourcing monetising in complete security and in compliance with current regulations. In the construction, infrastructure, energy and real estate sectors in particular, Dawex is deploying its solution to facilitate and secure the flow of data between private partners and public authorities.
Time for Oceans
Raising awareness about the preservation of the oceans, a call for a universal cause! The objective of Time for Oceans is to contribute to raising awareness on the essential protection of the oceans and to share existing solutions. Imagining places to live while preserving the world of tomorrow is our responsibility! Our ambition goes beyond the sphere of construction to be part of a social, societal and environmental dimension. Contributing to the preservation of the environment means raising awareness and taking action for the sustainable development of territories, supporting and accompanying environmental innovations in the building, infrastructure and energy & services sectors.
The partnership aims to promote the best practices for sustainable cities at a neighbourhood level and to support Bouygues Construction in reducing its footprint on the world's forests. Partners for "Reinventing Cities", Bouygues Construction supports WWF France's initiative to encourage companies and local authorities to follow more sustainable urban lifestyles.
