The Bouygues Construction Foundation
Our mission: ensure access
to education for all and the transmission of knowledge
A mission with meaning
Through the Bouygues Construction Foundation, we form partnerships and support projects that seek to overcome obstacles to education, strengthen basic skills, fight against failure and dropping out of school, and facilitate professional integration. The Foundation acts in particular to promote educational equity in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal No. 4.
To implement these commitments as close to grassroots level as possible, the Foundation is committed to working with local communities in every region and country where we operate.
We endeavour to forge close ties and support training programmes that are directly tailored to people’s real needs. Essential in our view, this approach guarantees long-term, trustworthy support for our partner associations, while strengthening human relations between all the teams involved.

Strategic partners to maximise our impact
In France
The Foundation works with the FNEP (the National Federation of Production Schools), a network of technical training centres that help prevent students from dropping out of high school.
The Foundation provides support for professional training sessions for tutors throughout the network, and contributes to investments in professional equipment in centres located in regions where we are most active.

In other countries
The Foundation partners with the IECD (the European Institute for Cooperation and Development), an international solidarity organisation.
In Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire, the Foundation plays a part in rolling out the Energy Industry Building (EIB) programme, which offers courses that lead to a qualification to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and guides them in their career choices.
The Foundation also contributes towards funding equipment for the schools it supports and towards the training of teaching personnel.

An internal call for projects targeting our employees
Every year, the Foundation supports 12 community-driven projects focused on education and the transfer of knowledge in countries where the Group operates.
These projects are sponsored by employees, who nominate local initiatives and monitor progress made in the field, in conjunction with the Foundation’s permanent team. Supporting the partner organisations, they ensure that the projects are implemented successfully.
Since 2009, more than 420 projects in 35 countries have been supported through this programme, made possible by the commitment of our employees around the world.
