Construction Venture is the venture capital arm of Bouygues Construction, dedicated to ConTech startups. These startups become strategic partners in the aim to build a more sustainable, more productive and more innovative future.
By working with leaders in innovation, Research & Development, and a network of partners in business and operations, Construction Venture seeks to anticipate evolutions in the sector. Together with our portfolio startups, we aim to resolve the challenges we are confronted with today and to discover the opportunities for tomorrow.
INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
The objective of Construction Venture is to invest in strategic startups which address the challenges faced by Bouygues Construction along three major themes.
As we can make a stronger contribution at the beginning of a project, we finance early-stage startups, participating in rounds:
- of Pre-Seed, Seed or Series A
- usually in the form a capital increase
- with co-investors
- for approximately 5 to 20% in equity
We believe that the success of our relationship depends on the creation of a strong and long-term link between Bouygues Construction and the startup, and for this reason our investments are made on condition if joining the Board of the startup.

Construction Venture is based at the Bouygues Construction headquarters outside of Paris, with satellites in San Francisco and Tokyo. The team has 40 years combined experience in venture capital, M&A, innovation, R&D, and business strategy and 25 years combined at Bouygues Construction.
