The ageing population is not a new topic, but due to the acceleration and scale of the phenomenon over the coming ears, we must study this challenge and analyse its consequences for the housing supply.

current challenges: development of outpatient care, multi-professional grouping of practitioners, optimisation of medical time, development of prevention approaches and a comprehensive approach to health promotion, emergence of e-health to combat the compartmentalisation of the health system, medical desertification, the lack of private practices and the saturation of the emergency services.
