Bouygues Construction has been named a s one of France’s Best Employers in 2026, according to the ranking published by Capital magazine in partnership with the Statista institute. The company is ranked first in the Construction sector and 12th overall, up from 29th last year, out of the 500 companies assessed.

The ranking is based on an anonymous and independent online survey of 20,000 employees working in companies employing over 500 people, across more than 30 sectors. It assesses French employees' satisfaction with their employer and companies in their sector.

One of the key indicators used in the survey is whether respondents would recommend their company to a friend or family member. Respondents were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire, rating on a scale of 0 to 10 how likely they would be to recommend their employer, as well as their main competitors (based on their own perception of them), to people close to them. On this criterion, Bouygues Construction scored 8.2/10 on average (compared with 7.9/10 last year).

The improvement in its overall ranking reflects Bouygues Construction’s ongoing efforts to improve its HR policies and employee experience as part of a continuous improvement process.
