Bouygues Construction offers products, services and digital solutions for universities. In this area, the Group sees itself as a real demonstrator of its expertise! That is why its headquarters, Challenger, are transforming into a laboratory for experiments and full-scale tests.

FabLab, MOOC studio, LearnLab, Arcas room — these names conceal the today's innovations, which will become commonplace for the students, teachers and researchers of tomorrow.

Bouygues Construction designs, develops and uses the tools that will pave the way for the campus of tomorrow.

On Monday 27 June, Thierry Mandon, French Secretary of State for Higher Education and Research, visited our Connected University demo to learn about new campus facility solutions.

At a time when the needs and expectations of those who live and work on campus are rapidly changing, the visit was an opportunity for Philippe Bonnave, Chairman and CEO of Bouygues Construction, to remind others of "the importance of bringing academia and the corporate world closer together to integrate solutions and to show how universities can be reached by putting technology to use".

The solutions offered by Bouygues Construction live up to the sector's expectations and Bouygues employees themselves are the first to use them. A short visit of the dedicated spaces:

The LearnLab

Here, the emphasis is put on collective work: creativity spaces, brainstorming and meeting rooms, presentations, touch screens, and much more. Anything is possible, from organising a dynamic and virtual meeting to preparing a creativity session!

The MOOC studio

A turnkey tool for effortlessly creating one's own presentation videos: dynamic project presentations, visual aids for event promotions, tutorials, and more. Everyone can be at once director, editor and speaker!

The Arcas room

A real area for experimenting with new augmented reality technologies, the ARCAS room gives concrete shape to projects, particularly digital models.

 The FabLab

Thanks to 3D printing, this rapid prototyping space can give ideas a concrete shape at all design phases of a building — provided that it was designed as a digital model!
