Bristol’s tallest residential tower: a new city centre landmark
Bouygues Bâtiment International’s subsidiary, Bouygues UK, developed, designed, and delivered Castle Park View - the tallest residential building in the heart of Bristol. Overlooking Castle Park on the site of a former ambulance station, Castle Park View forms part of Bristol’s ongoing regeneration strategy.
This iconic 26-storey tower provides 375 new homes, including 300 one- and two-bedroom apartments for the private rented sector and 75 affordable homes, across a total gross internal area of 29,373 square meters. The project, delivered in partnership with Homes England, Bristol City Council, M&G Real Estate, and Abri, creates high-quality housing at the gateway to the city’s largest urban green space.

Urban regeneration with heritage sensitivity
Located to the southeast of Castle Park, the project sits within a historically rich area, adjacent to a medieval castle site and the culverted River Frome, and close to major routes, shopping, and office hubs. Bouygues UK addressed complex site constraints through a comprehensive Construction Management Plan, detailing construction methodology, traffic management, and safety.
Respect for archaeological heritage was central to the project. Before works commenced, an archaeological dig was commissioned to locate the historic dry ditch between the castle and the river.
