A high-performance, sustainable leather goods workshop

Entrusted to the teams at Bouygues Bâtiment Industrie, this project involves the construction of a 24,000 m² complex dedicated to the manufacture of leather goods. The building has been designed to support the growth of the business whilst ensuring optimal working conditions for staff.

With strong environmental considerations integrated from the outset, the project stands out for its shed roof comprising 24-metre metal spans, allowing for maximum natural light. In addition, 1,275 m² of photovoltaic panels have been installed on the south-facing slopes of the sheds, helping to improve the site’s overall energy performance.

This project forms part of an ambitious sustainable construction initiative and has been awarded several leading environmental certifications: BREEAM Very Good, BEPOS+ Effinergie® 2017, HQE™ Exceptionnel and LEED.
