A major exhibition and events hub at Hong Kong International Airport
Dragages Hong Kong, a subsidiary of Bouygues Bâtiment International, delivered AsiaWorld–Expo, the second largest exhibition and events centre in Hong Kong, located on Lantau Island, directly adjacent to the international airport.
Inaugurated in December 2005 after two years of construction, the complex offers an exceptional 70,000 m² exhibition capacity spread across 10 fully modular halls. Designed to host international trade fairs, conferences and large-scale entertainment events, the venue also includes a multi-purpose arena with 13,500 seats, making it the largest indoor hall of its kind in Hong Kong.

An outstanding venue offering excellent accessibility and positive social influence
Directly connected to the airport via a dedicated metro station and shuttle services, AsiaWorld–Expo benefits from outstanding accessibility. Equipped with a modular design and high-tech facilities, the venue has become one of the world’s most popular event destinations, hosting major international exhibitions, concerts and industry-leading trade shows.
Beyond its operational performance, the project is also recognised for its strong social commitment. In 2010, AsiaWorld–Expo received an Excellence Award for a Partnership Project, recognising its contribution to prisoner reintegration through training and employment programmes linked to event preparation.
