Bouygues Construction commits to professional integration
With over one million hours of professional integration a year, Bouygues Construction is actively involved in the local economy and is making a positive contribution to the development of the regions in which the Group is located. He sets out its commitment under three main initiatives.
Jean Cocteau College - Coulaines
The Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest subsidiary of Bouygues Construction won the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contract to rebuild four junior schools in Sarthe. The four junior schools will be rebuilt one after the other as part of the high-performance junior school plan developed by departmental authorities in Sarthe for a final delivery at the end of July 2019.
Grand Paris Express
Société du Grand Paris chose the consortium led by Bouygues Travaux Publics, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, for the work on the southern part of Line 15 of the Grand Paris Express from Villejuif to Créteil.
Solar power Bouygues Construction
Solairedirect has entrusted Bouygues Energies & Services (a Bouygues Construction subsidiary) with the task of building France’s fourth-largest photovoltaic power station. Located in Gréoux-les-Bains in France’s Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, the power station has distinguished the Group as a heavyweight in the solar-energy market.
The Nouveau Tertre campuses
In July, Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest, a Bouygues Construction subsidiary, began the Nouveau Tertre renovation project for the Faculty of Arts campus at the Université de Nantes. The recent demolition of the main hall represents an important step forward in the project.
Mersey Gateway
On 27 October 2016, the first stay cable of the Mersey Gateway Bridge, in the north-west of England, was successfully installed thanks to the technical support of VSL Systems (UK) Ltd.
