Bouygues Construction commits to professional integration
With over one million hours of professional integration a year, Bouygues Construction is actively involved in the local economy and is making a positive contribution to the development of the regions in which the Group is located. He sets out its commitment under three main initiatives.
It’s only just begun but the new BBCA certification has already been conferred on new buildings. Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has just been singled out by this accreditation for three of its projects.
"The most valuable encounters are those that help us grow". Two years after the Village by CA opened in June 2014, a village event brought the different players within this ecosystem together. Their shared experiences demonstrated that this belief, which lies at the heart of the project, is fruitful for all stakeholders.
Preserving the safety of employees and all of the participants on a work site is the main priority of Bouygues Construction. Our goal: zero accidents! Dragages Macau and Bouygues Energies & Services, subsidiaries of Bouygues Construction, have been top examples of safety and were recognised for it. One award is in the construction sector while the other is in the Operation-Maintenance category.
Third Places
Previously existing as plazas or cafés, third places have taken on a new dimension. These communal areas, appreciated for their proximity, exchanges and diversity, now serve the projects of their users. Through its Third Places offer, Bouygues Construction contributes to the emergence of these ever more lively areas that are vectors of social connections and facilitators of everyday life. Martial Desruelles, CEO of Linkcity Ile-de-France, and Olivier Soulier, Linkcity UK Director for Greater London, our property development subsidiaries, explained the Third Spaces approach and the expertise offered by Bouygues Construction in an interview for the Ice House Quarter project in London.
Grand Paris Express
The consortium composed of Bouygues Travaux Publics, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, assisted by three subsidiaries from the Soletanche Bachy group, was chosen in March 2016 to conduct civil engineering projects on the future station of Fort d’Issy – Vanves – Clamart, designed by the architect Philippe Gazeau. To celebrate the beginning of the first civil engineering project for the Grand Paris Express, the future Fort d’Issy – Vanves – Clamart station, an inaugural day called 'KM1' for 'kilometre 1' will be organised by the Société du Grand Paris in partnership with Bouygues Travaux Publics on 4 June 2016 just beside the Clamart station. An artistic and cultural programme has been drawn up for this festive event to mark the launch of this extraordinary project.
