A strategic healthcare logistics hub for Hong Kong

Dragages Hong Kong, a subsidiary of Bouygues Bâtiment International, delivered the Hospital Authority Supporting Services Centre (HASSC) in Tung Chung, a major infrastructure project designed to strengthen healthcare support services across Hong Kong.

As part of Phase 2 of the North Lantau Hospital development, HASSC serves as a centralised support hub for North Lantau Hospital and public hospitals citywide. The facility brings together a central laundry centre, a high-capacity food production unit for patient meals, an IT corporate data centre, and a central emergency storage facility for critical personal protective equipment.

Designed to enhance operational efficiency and system resilience, the centre plays a key role in supporting the growing demand for high-quality healthcare services. With a total area of 62,000 m² across six storeys, the project was delivered under the NEC3 Option A contract framework, with close collaboration between the project team and public stakeholders to ensure a world-class healthcare support facility for Hong Kong.
