Charles Paradis was born in 1958 and graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He began his career working at the Ministry of Defence, in the Maritime Affairs department based first in Cherbourg, then in Brest. He joined Bouygues Travaux Publics in 1988 as head of the commercial department. After being involved in a number of concession projects, he took charge of the company operating the Istria motorway in Croatia in 1997.
He was made Senior Vice President, Concessions prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction Concessions in February 2003.
Charles Paradis is member of the General Management Committee.
